Teacher of the Day- THEME: Pajama Day

Making the day memorable and fun!
Our school auctions off "Teacher of the Day" to raise money and this year 2 students won.
I went over one of my students ideas for his Teacher of the Day and sent this form to his parents.
Here are a few things I did to make it EXTRA special for him.
DOOR SIGN

I posted this on our door, so it's the first thing he sees when he comes into the classroom.
OFFICIAL SCHOOL NAME TAG
We ended up making him a nice laminated name tag that said, Teacher of the Day, like the one below.

 SNACK
mini doughnuts and hot chocolate (his choice)

 Surprise Story Teller
His nana reading his favorite book
 MOVIE TIME
We NEVER watch movies during school hours, this was a real treat!

GAME-Find the Coin
Select a child to be a leprechaun. Then have all the players sit in a circle with the leprechaun standing in the middle with his eyes covered. Give one child a coin, making sure the leprechaun is not looking. Play music and have the children pass the coin around until the music stops. The leprechaun opens his eyes and tries to guess who has the coin.

EASY DIY Rainbow Cupcakes
Ingredients: White cake mix, primary color food coloring, bowls or cups, and spoons. If you forgot how to MIX COLORS click on my link.
Pour in whatever order you'd like. On this batch I started with red and worked my way to purple.
Next time I am going to start with purple and work my way up. Purple-Blue-Green-Yellow-Orange-Red. So the red ends up on top

Rainbows- Fruit Loops Patterns

I originally wanted them to make necklaces with the patterns they each made, but due to time and this years group of students, I skipped it. I found the idea on Mamas like me
